Last summer Lake County Speedway lost Frank Lett after a long battle with lung cancer. Lette devoted his life to short track racing and spent many Saturdays at the former Painesville Speedway. To honor his passion for the sport, we established the tradition of running an annual street stock race in his honor.
The 2012 Frank Lett Memorial 150 will be accompanied by a 75 lap modified and 50 lap compact feature in addition to the 150 lap street stock feature. All three races will have top payouts for the divisions in the state, with $1800 going to the winner of the street stock division.
This race is a not an easy assignment; maintaining your tires for that many laps is a feat in and of itself. If asked, the 2011 Memorial 150 champion, Earl Goldy, would probably agree that keeping an eye on the rest of the field, patience and persistence are what helped him get to victory lane.

I have a street stock that runs a columbus motor speedway just wondering if i would be able to come run the show on monday the 3rd without having to change a hole bunch of thing plus what kinda gear do ur street stock run there if u can find out thank you for your time
Hey Darrell, you shouldn’t have to change much on your street stock, Call my tech guy Josh 440-478-1062, he will answer your questions on rules. The gearing should be around 720-766 final most guys are running around 730. 766 final is a pretty high RPM. If you have anymore questions feel free to call me @ 440-223-6963 or Josh @ 440-478-1062.
thanks, hope to see you there!
What will be the running order of the night just wondering
Tony, the Compacts ‘B Main’ race will be first, followed by Modifieds, Compact ‘A Main’ and then Street Stocks. The ‘B Main will be for the cars that did not qualify in the top 16, they will get their chance to race into the big race for. Will be a busy day for sure! Hope you come join us.
Hopefully the flag man is not all pilled out and works the flags and lights properly this time. My buddies car got destroyed because of the flagman. Tell him to lay off the pills before the race
